A private council session with a former child solider at World Vision Children of War Rehabilitation Center, Gulu, northern Uganda, Dec. 2005. Since the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) waged war against the Ugandan government more than two decades ago, northern Uganda had witnessed more than 30,000 children abducted. Their parents murdered and homes burnt down, children were kidnapped at night, taken to the LRA training camps (the Bush), forced to fight as soldiers or serve as sex slaves. Reintegrating former abductees back to normal life had become the objective of many aid organizations...(This panorama consists of multiple photos combined together in post production.
